Key Responsibilities

  • •Execute weld support team activities, including plasma programming/operating and operating cutting tools such as band saws and chop saws.
  • •Perform material preparation tasks such as manually drilling and milling materials and moving materials in and around the shop.
  • •Analyze engineering drawings to determine dimensions and tolerances of cut parts.
  • •Obtain and maintain licenses, operator permits, or certifications as required.
  • •Improve operations by decreasing turnaround times, streamlining work processes, solving problems with leaders, and completing assigned projects to meet deadlines.
