Job Summary

Design and deliver automation projects by translating business needs into effective software solutions. Develop preliminary designs, device specs, feasibility studies, and cost estimates, then create control applications and HMI/GUI interfaces using Ignition and Factory Talk View. Work with operations and maintenance teams, vendors, and plant personnel to support startup, training, troubleshooting, and downtime risk prevention for the pork/meat industry.

•Develop preliminary engineering designs and device specifications.
•Conduct feasibility studies and develop project cost estimates.

•Design and develop GUI/HMI graphics, operator interfaces, and database architecture.
•Coordinate with vendors and provide startup support, training, and troubleshooting for downtime and risk prevention.

•Knowledge of process controls, motor controls, instrumentation, automation principles, and industrial networking; ability to apply engineering principles to operational and design issues.
