Job Summary

Join the Business Security Enablement ONE team to provide information security risk advisory for Mastercard’s operations and employee digital experiences, including AI-enabled platforms. Partner with application development and platform teams to improve security across the SDLC, embed security-first and responsible AI practices, and lead large initiatives spanning DevOps, CI/CD, IaaS/PaaS, cloud, and AI. Recommend secure design patterns for data protection, identity, and privileged access.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide information security risk advisory and consultation to the ONE program, covering traditional applications and AI-enabled platforms.
•Proactively identify, manage, control, mitigate, and remediate security risks aligned to Mastercard’s risk appetite, including risks from data usage and third-party AI services.
•Partner with application development and platform teams to improve security of application code, AI integrations, and system architectures early in the SDLC.
•Drive security-first and risk-aware culture, promoting security and responsible AI awareness across Product and Technology organizations.
•Lead security in complex initiatives involving DevOps, CI/CD, IaaS/PaaS, cloud, and AI platforms; evaluate secure design patterns for data protection, identity, and privileged access.

Key Requirements

•7–10 years of progressive experience across multiple information security disciplines with depth in secure engineering and architecture.
•CISSP or an industry-recognized security certification strongly preferred.
•Expert knowledge of security protocols, standards, enterprise security design patterns, and secure architectures.
•Proven experience designing and securing cloud native and hybrid environments, including containerized technologies and IaaS/PaaS security controls.
•Advanced hands-on knowledge of cryptography and enterprise security controls (e.g., symmetric/asymmetric encryption, SSL/TLS, VPN/IPSec, privileged identity management, IDS/IPS).
