Key Responsibilities

  • •Build end-to-end features across web applications, backend services, and data platforms supporting Spotify’s subscription business.
  • •Create internal products enabling teams to launch, configure, and manage Premium offers through secure, guided workflows.
  • •Design and maintain scalable backend services for subscriptions, prepaid products, pricing, promotions, and the offer lifecycle.
  • •Develop GraphQL and gRPC APIs connecting frontend applications with distributed platform services.
  • •Participate in on-call rotation to maintain reliability and availability of services powering Spotify Premium.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience building and delivering production software across both frontend and backend technologies.
  • •Develop scalable backend services using modern Java (Java 17+ is a plus).
  • •Build modern web applications using TypeScript, React, and Next.js.
  • •Design or consume GraphQL APIs and enjoy building schema-driven applications.
  • •Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL (schema design, migrations, and query optimization).
