Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform all duties of a Contract Security Officer (CSO) and provide physical security services at TVA facilities including offices, dams, substations, warehouses, and critical infrastructure sites.
  • •Ensure continuous staffing coverage by monitoring security post and shift requirements, scheduling, and timekeeping.
  • •Oversee access control activities including credential verification and issuance/accountability of visitor badges and passes.
  • •Conduct and supervise foot and vehicle patrols, monitor perimeters and restricted areas, and identify/report suspicious activities or security concerns.
  • •Respond to alarms and security incidents, coordinate with law enforcement/emergency services as needed, document incidents and maintain required reports and records while ensuring compliance and contract quality standards.
Travel: Extensive travel

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum two (2) years of successful field supervisory experience in civilian law enforcement, military service, security force operations, or commercial/industrial security environments (or an equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience).
  • •High school diploma or GED required.
  • •Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • •Excellent leadership and team-building abilities with proficiency in report writing and documentation.
  • •Ability to manage multiple priorities and staffing requirements, with knowledge of access control, patrol operations, incident response, and physical security principles.
