Key Responsibilities

  • •Apply the Systematic Approach to Training (SAT) to implement and deliver training in accredited programs.
  • •Develop and conduct operations training for accredited licensed operating training programs.
  • •Develop, present, and update nuclear operations training materials for classroom, plant, and simulator settings.
  • •Perform training analysis; examine, remediate, and evaluate student performance; maintain appropriate records.
  • •Oversee accreditation objectives and criteria, interfacing with INPO and the NRC as required, and perform Emergency Response Organization (ERO) duties as assigned.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline preferred.
  • •Minimum 5 years of experience in Operations or Operations Training in the nuclear industry.
  • •Strong familiarity with Westinghouse PWR operations (strongly preferred).
  • •Holding or having previously held an RO or SRO license/certification (preferred).
  • •Holding or having previously held an INPO instructor certification; proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and strong written/oral communication.
