Job Summary

Lead inbound operations for imported products in Brazil, designing and executing efficient flow from local ports to regional distribution centers. Partner with Global Inbound Transportation and Customs & Trade teams to coordinate with local customs brokers and logistics partners, optimize transit times, and manage operational risks. Own daily execution, KPIs and service levels, and run weekly import volume forecasting to inform 3PL capacity planning, while supporting integrations and regulatory/commercial certification needs.

Key Responsibilities

•Act as the primary point of contact between Global Inbound Transportation and Customs & Trade, and local transportation partners, ensuring a continuous flow from port to distribution center.
•Coordinate operational transfers with customs brokers under Customs & Trade governance and guidance.
•Lead local execution of regional transportation/logistics strategies for imported products while managing daily operations and partner communications.
•Proactively monitor import transportation and delivery flows, identify potential delays, and communicate risks and mitigation plans.
•Own weekly import volume forecasting and turn projections into actionable inputs for 3PLs to optimize labor planning and capacity.

Key Requirements

•More than 6 years of functional experience in international logistics, inbound import transportation, or customs coordination in dynamic retail/consumer sectors.
•Proven experience managing complex logistics supply chains between ports and warehouses and optimizing third-party logistics providers to deliver measurable operational efficiency gains.
•Deep knowledge of Brazilian import processes, customs broker operations, and local transportation dynamics to make decisions under regulatory ambiguity.
•Strong ability to build collaborative relationships across stakeholders in regional and global matrix environments, aligning priorities and resolving bottlenecks.
•Motivation to learn and challenge existing supply-chain processes, using data-driven analysis to develop structured business cases focused on cost reduction.
