Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide compliance oversight, assessment, and operations for systems under the ISSO’s purview across one or more programs.
  • •Conduct recurring cybersecurity reviews in accordance with DoD Manuals, NIST Special Publications, customer directives, and company policies.
  • •Review and approve configuration management requests within authority; perform technical and administrative assessments.
  • •Integrate new cybersecurity processes, procedures, and tools, and support creation, review, and updates of cybersecurity documentation.
  • •Mentor other ISSOs and oversee their implementation of cybersecurity policies and procedures outlined in governing artifacts and documentation.

Key Requirements

  • •Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience with minimum 8 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree with minimum 5 years of experience.
  • •IAM Level I certification (Security+ or other).
  • •Relevant experience in cybersecurity, systems security or hardening, and/or information technology.
  • •Experience with compliance-based auditing using frameworks/processes such as RMF, DCSA DAAPM, JSIG, NISPOM, and/or non-defense regulations (e.g., PCI, ISO 9001, HIPAA).
