Key Responsibilities

  • •Repair and replace defective parts in electrical fixtures.
  • •Install, maintain, and repair electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment, including hydraulic and pneumatic devices.
  • •Perform preventative repair and maintenance of field, plant, and shop electronic and electrical systems.
  • •Install enhancements and major upgrades to plant electrical subsystems, including electrical wiring work from instructions.
  • •Troubleshoot electrical equipment (e.g., motor control centers, transformers, switchboards, controllers, circuit breakers, motors, heating units, conduit systems, generators) and test circuits for operability.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalency certificate
  • •3+ years of professional experience as an electrician
  • •Ability to work night shift (5PM – 3AM) and weekends/extended hours as needed
  • •Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting 35 lbs. unassisted and working on ladders/lifts
  • •Must be able to pass an Air Force background check for Cape Canaveral and hold a valid driver’s license
