Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as the Electrical and I&C discipline CAD lead, overseeing design and preparation of electrical and I&C deliverables for projects of all sizes.
  • •Lead complex CAD tasks and coordinate the production of drawings, collaborating to create integrated digital project content and resolve interface issues.
  • •Coordinate facility design deliverables across feasibility through construction support, working with engineers and project managers to progress all design stages.
  • •Lead discipline CAD execution by maintaining task budgets, staffing plans, and schedule updates, including reviewing/checking peer/group work.
  • •Prepare bills of materials and quantity takeoffs; use laser scan/vendor files/LiDAR/survey points for project modeling and manage survey/client data throughout the lifecycle.

Key Requirements

  • •BA/BS plus 6 years of relevant power or industrial experience, or demonstrated equivalent experience and/or education.
  • •5+ years of experience as a discipline CAD lead, including successful leadership of remote teams and/or high value centers.
  • •Strong electrical design experience for power generation or industrial facilities, including electrical design layouts, fittings, materials, and knowledge of field instruments, wiring, and control systems.
  • •Experience creating and integrating data into 3D models using laser scans and/or LiDAR surfaces, with proficiency in coordinate systems and data transformation.
  • •Experience with CAD/modeling and collaborative model environments, including Common Data Environments and tools such as ProjectWise, BIM 360, ACC, and relevant CAD platforms.
