Key Responsibilities

  • •Conduct daily safety meetings and workplace inspections; maintain incident/accident reporting and investigation documentation.
  • •Supervise and lead maintenance technicians, including assigning tasks, prioritizing workloads, and providing mentorship and training.
  • •Create, review, and complete work orders; coordinate with planners for scheduling and resource allocation.
  • •Create and manage parts lists for maintenance activities, including sourcing/procuring parts and identifying suitable replacements.
  • •Perform hands-on repair and troubleshooting for mine equipment as needed, advising on repairs and estimated downtime to optimize operational efficiency.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience managing a team in mobile or vehicle maintenance, preferably in a mine setting.
  • •Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Outlook.
  • •Knowledge of vehicle systems including hydraulics, electrical, filtration, fuel, A/C and refrigeration, with ability to troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance.
  • •Ability to perform advanced troubleshooting and failure analysis using electronic diagnostic tools, and interpret maintenance manuals and schematics.
  • •Proficiency in maintenance tracking software; ability to read MSDS and work rotating shifts, extended hours/overtime, and on-call as required.
