Job Summary

Haul feed and agronomy products to local customers in Fairfax on routes where you’re home each night. Prepare trucks and railcars for loading and unloading, move agricultural inputs, and maintain accurate inventory and quality. Perform daily maintenance, repairs, housekeeping, and facility/warehouse tasks while ensuring safe, on-time deliveries and full compliance with safety policies, laws, pre-/post-trip reporting, and hours of service.

Key Responsibilities

•Haul feed and agronomy products to local customers in Fairfax; routes are local and drivers are home each night.
•Prepare trucks and railcars for loading/unloading, including sampling, opening hatches, and attaching/detaching hoses.
•Load and unload agricultural inputs using heavy or light duty machinery/equipment.
•Conduct and record repairs and daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance; inspect in-use equipment.
•Ensure on-time, safe, professional deliveries while complying with local, state, and federal laws, including pre-/post-trip reporting, load securement, and hours of service.

Key Requirements

•Knowledge of operations and/or trucking operations.
•Ability to read, write, and communicate in English and understand highway traffic signs and signals.
•Must meet the minimum age requirement.
•Maintain or be able to obtain a CDL and DOT medical card.
•Ability to lift 75 pounds.
