Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee radiation protection activities including decontamination and contaminated area surveys during outages to ensure ALARA.
  • •Monitor controlled-area radiation activity and ensure accurate, reliable dose measurement during radiation work.
  • •Lead transportation and storage execution for radioactive material during fuel assembly to ensure plant safety.
  • •Ensure continuous monitoring of liquid radioactive waste and operation of liquid scintillation/counting systems; lead effluent control and monitoring to meet regulatory requirements.
  • •Lead quality control and calibration of radiation detection equipment and radioactivity counting laboratory operations; manage staff training/qualification and operational KPIs.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related Science.
  • •6 years of relevant experience, including 2 years in Nuclear Power Plant experience.
  • •Participation in radiation protection activities at a Nuclear Power Plant (at least 6 months).
  • •Oversee radiation protection work to ensure accurate and reliable dose measurements (ALARA).
  • •Lead staff training and qualification by monitoring, instructing, and evaluating staff performance.
