Key Responsibilities

  • •Disassemble, clean, inspect, assemble, and final prep components within the assigned shop, resolving most questions and escalating only the most complex issues.
  • •Follow continuous improvement and environmental, health and safety (EH&S) activities and initiatives.
  • •Enter and retrieve information from the operating (SAP) system to perform daily activities.
  • •Inspect, disposition, and rework/repair or scrap and replace components, modules, and LRU’s as required.
  • •Perform inspection/testing and troubleshooting, including electrical continuity, insulation resistance, dielectric testing, and recording accept/reject data.

Key Requirements

  • •Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent) or vocational/technical education in a related discipline with a minimum of 2 year of relevant experience.
  • •Experience with CMM, technical sheets, work instructions, and/or blueprints.
  • •Meet FAR 65.71(a)(2) English reading/speaking/understanding requirements and FAR 145.155 (b)/(a) (certified repair station inspector English requirements).
  • •3+ years of work experience in the aerospace industry, preferably in an MRO environment.
  • •Preferred: A&P license or attending school.
