Key Responsibilities

  • •Create sourcing slates, coordinate source selection, and develop RFQs/RFPs and purchase orders.
  • •Coordinate approval of supplier exceptions to terms and conditions, and manage invoice approvals and payment issue resolution.
  • •Track and manage supplier work in process (WIP), identify risks to planned delivery, and maintain promise dating.
  • •Manage purchase orders as technical definitions change, evaluate risks in transition to low-rate production, and resolve part shortages including shipping and tracking.
  • •Evaluate supplier capabilities and performance using TRL/MRL, and coordinate resolution of quality issues and supplier risks with cross-functional teams.

Key Requirements

  • •Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 5 years’ experience in supply chain, manufacturing, industrial management, or related field.
  • •U.S. citizenship is required and the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
  • •Strong analytical and writing skills to support order justification and audit.
  • •Ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, and associated flow down.
  • •Familiarity with SAP Purchase Order A1 Self Release.
