Job Summary

Lead and optimize process analyzer systems for real-time monitoring in oil and gas operations. You’ll evaluate, select and develop analyzers, collaborate with chemists and process engineers, troubleshoot upsets, and drive continuous improvements while integrating advanced analytical tools into facilities and R&D programs.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide process analyzer system support to R&D teams, operations, and pilot plant activities using analytical techniques such as physical property analyzers, chromatography, spectroscopy and chemometrics.
•Track analyzer performance efficiency, conduct failure analyses, and drive continuous improvements for analyzer performance and applications.
•Develop and identify new analytical solutions to monitor process composition in real-time.
•Support the design, selection, installation and commissioning of new process analyzer systems.
•Carry out investigative studies in oil and gas processing plants related challenges utilizing state-of-the-art portable on-line analyzers.

Key Requirements

•Master degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering; PhD in process analyzers or sampling design preferred.
•Minimum 10 years of experience in process monitoring, especially in design/selection of process online analyzers and sampling systems.
•Strong hands-on experience with chromatography and physical property analyzers in oil & gas/petrochemical industries preferred.
•Demonstrated scientific/technical achievements through patents and publications preferred.
•Ability to develop process monitoring solutions for R&D and deployment in gas processing, refining, and related facilities.
