Key Responsibilities

  • •Deploy, configure, and manage a variety of applications, databases, and big data platforms to ensure high availability, performance, and scalability
  • •Monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, automate tasks, manage user access, and implement backup/recovery strategies
  • •Collaborate with data engineering/analytics to design data schemas and support data pipeline development
  • •Enable infrastructure provisioning to support scalable data pipelines and analytics solutions
  • •Provide guidance on resource usage and cost management while enforcing data governance and security standards

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field with 5 years of related experience
  • •Experience developing and maintaining big data infrastructure using Hadoop ecosystems (e.g., Cloudera, Hive, Spark, Sqoop)
  • •Experience configuring and optimizing Linux servers (RHEL/Ubuntu) for high availability and performance
  • •Experience overseeing Redis database administration (sharding, clustering, scaling, SSL)
  • •Experience monitoring and troubleshooting systems with Kibana, Grafana, Nagios, and Ganglia
