Key Responsibilities

•Rapidly pick up live poultry (chicken) by the thighs and place both feet into moving conveyor shackles.
•Keep the processing line full and constantly moving, handling birds at rates up to 27+ birds per minute.
•Strictly follow company animal welfare guidelines to ensure humane, stress-free handling.
•Wear required PPE (safety glasses, earplugs, hairnets, aprons, and boots).
•Observe and enforce company personnel, quality, safety, and food safety policies; recognize and act on incidents and safety risks; assist others and complete other duties as directed.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred.
•Ability to comprehend simple instructions and apply common sense.
•Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
•Ability to stand, walk, reach, and bend for 8 to 10 hour shifts and lift birds weighing 8 to 10 lbs. repeatedly.
•Must be a team player with good communication skills and the ability to multitask and work quickly.
