  • •Coordinate strategy development, positioning, and messaging for earned media, including writing and distributing approved press releases, media advisories, statements, and talking points.
  • •Develop proactive content for the online newsroom by blending business narratives with creative storytelling.
  • •Design coordinated communications campaigns generating positive earned media through digital and social channels, and analyze impact and outcomes.
  • •Collaborate to provide timely media responses to routine inquiries and support for unanticipated events, sensitive issues, and critical incidents.
  • •Serve as a media spokesperson, train and mentor others, and track/analyze media coverage to communicate potential impact.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in strategic communications, public relations, journalism, media relations, or a related field.

  • •Demonstrated experience in public relations, media relations, and/or crisis management.
  • •Experience handling digital and social media channels, including bloggers and traditional print and broadcast media.
  • •Ability to balance multiple projects and maintain sensitive/confidential information.
