Job Summary

Provide specialized technology risk advisory support for key IT Service Management (ITSM) processes, including Incident, Change, and Problem Management. Plan and execute ITSM control assessments, evaluate control design and operating effectiveness, identify gaps, and document evidence for audit readiness. Advise ITSM process owners and risk stakeholders on risk impacts and treatment options, maintain assessment artifacts in ServiceNow/IRM tools, and drive continuous improvement through trend analysis and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

•Plan and execute ITSM control assessments across Incident, Change, and Problem Management processes within an assigned scope.
•Evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of ITSM controls to identify gaps, weaknesses, and deviations, including root causes and technology risk implications.
•Provide risk-based advisory guidance on control weaknesses and support issue documentation, classification, and escalation with appropriate risk treatment options.
•Document and maintain assessment results, evidence, and artifacts in ServiceNow / Integrated Risk Management (IRM) tools in line with documentation standards.
•Engage with ITSM process owners and risk stakeholders, perform trend analysis across assessments, and contribute to readiness for internal audits, RCSA exercises, and regulatory reviews.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
•Typically 5–7 years of experience in technology risk, controls, ITSM, or security-related roles.
•Strong practical knowledge of ITSM processes and control environments to assess risk and control effectiveness.
•Analytical skills and sound judgment, with the ability to clearly communicate complex risk concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
•Preferred certifications: ITIL Foundation, CISA, CISSP, or CRISC.
