Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform certified DOT inspections and preventative maintenance inspections for assigned fleets.
  • •Diagnose, adjust, and repair truck equipment systems including electrical/brake/cooling, starters/alternators, engine electronics, power steering, engines, transmissions, clutches, and differentials.
  • •Document work order information accurately, including uploading photos, parts used, and findings on Repair Orders (RO) using company systems.
  • •Communicate with management/team/dispatch to obtain repair estimate approvals and parts or PO numbers.
  • •Perform all work in compliance with safety, health, environmental policies, and federal regulations including OSHA, EPA, and DOT.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma/GED and 3 years of experience in a related field (light/medium and/or heavy-duty experience preferred).
  • •Possess and supply the hand tools necessary to perform required job duties.
  • •Ability to successfully complete and pass a DOT-regulated pre-employment background screening and DOT physical (or submit a valid DOT medical card with sufficient remaining validity).
  • •Must be at least 21 years or older and maintain a valid state-of-residence driver’s license and Driver Qualification File.
  • •Safe driving requirements, including a 3-year MVR review.
