Key Responsibilities

  • •Direct activities related to maintaining cost accounting and financial analysis systems, ensuring accurate product costs and production variances.
  • •Oversee formal and informal financial accounting and payroll systems, including payroll administration and internal controls.
  • •Provide direction for internal and external financial reporting and forecasting, and supervise reporting and analysis of plant performance, production reporting, and inventory functions.
  • •Support cost reduction efforts through financial analysis and cost estimates, and provide credible financial analysis to plant operations.
  • •Assist with Annual Operating Plan (AOP) preparation, develop and implement key controls for SOX compliance, and coordinate audits for compliance with state and federal requirements.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree required; finance or accounting highly preferred.
  • •CMA, MBA, and/or CPA is a plus.
  • •4+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or mill environment with standard cost and variance reporting.
  • •Finance and/or cost accounting experience, preferably in agricultural or food industry.
  • •Advanced PC skills including Microsoft Excel, Access, Word, and Power BI; strong analytical and data management skills.
