Job Summary

Support APAC EHS leadership by standardizing and deploying health, safety, and transportation programs, leading incident notifications and investigation systems, and delivering root-cause findings and corrective-action reporting. Act as a technical expert for chemical transportation safety, including audits, KPI tracking, and compliance guidance across APAC. Provide coaching and training for investigators, emergency/spill protocols, and develop management reporting while staying ahead of emerging regulations.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead implementation of health, safety, and transportation programs and continuously recommend improvements while ensuring compliance with EHS standards and applicable legislation.
•Serve as APAC lead for incident notifications and response coordination; lead incident investigation systems, processes, procedures, and controls.
•Analyze investigation outcomes and deliver corporate reports including root cause analysis and recommendations to drive continuous improvement.
•Collaborate with operations, logistics, supply chain, and EHS teams to implement chemical transportation safety best practices; lead regional transportation auditing and track KPIs and action items.
•Provide oversight, coaching, on-the-job training, and mentoring for investigators and develop Zero Harm training standards and workshops, including guidance to carriers and 3PL partners.

Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

•15+ years’ experience in the petrochemical or industrial sectors leading investigations.
•Proven experience as a lead investigator in complex investigations using RCA tools such as Apollo RCA or TapRoot.
•Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
•Preferred: advanced degree and/or certifications (e.g., CSP, CIH).
•Fluent English and comprehensive knowledge of Health, Safety, and Transportation fundamentals.
