Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, build, and operationalize AI-native capabilities and automations across Sonar’s internal stack, including Claude MCP integrations, Claude skills, Rovo agents, and enterprise apps connectors.
  • •Administer and evolve Jira Service Management (JSM) and the wider Atlassian Cloud ecosystem with governance, access management, service catalog design, SLAs, queue/request configuration, and platform health monitoring.
  • •Engineer sophisticated workflow automations using Atlassian Automation plus REST APIs, webhooks, and third-party middleware to eliminate manual work at scale.
  • •Build and maintain integrations across Atlassian and adjacent enterprise systems using APIs/webhooks and marketplace apps.
  • •Own JSM Assets/CMDB configuration and enforce ITIL-aligned ITSM processes (incident, change, problem, access) while supporting security, compliance, and audit documentation/evidence.

Key Requirements

  • •Hands-on experience building AI-native platforms and systems (Claude/Anthropic, MCP, agent frameworks like Rovo, connectors, prompt-based workflows).
  • •5+ years hands-on administration of Jira Service Management (JSM), Jira Software, and Confluence Cloud in enterprise, multi-team environments.
  • •Proven workflow automation experience using Atlassian Automation and/or third-party tools, comfortable with REST APIs, webhooks, and JSON.
  • •Scripting experience (Python, Groovy, JavaScript) is a strong plus.
  • •Strong understanding of ITSM processes and ITIL v3/v4 (incident, change, problem, request management) and ability to enforce them via platform workflows.
