Own and drive complex US GAAP research and audit readiness, partnering with the Director of Technical Accounting to keep the company’s accounting framework aligned with rapid growth. Lead ASC 606, 842, 718, and 340-40 research and draft audit-defensible memos, while supporting SOX compliance, SEC reporting, and process walkthroughs. Collaborate cross-functionally across Engineering, Product, Legal, Tax, FP&A, and Corporate Development.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead and execute complex US GAAP research and produce audit-defensible technical accounting memos and position papers.
•Own audit readiness work including financial statement schedules, account reconciliations, and supporting workpapers for external audit cycles.
•Support SOX compliance by preparing process walkthroughs, building control frameworks, and driving remediation of control gaps.
•Develop and implement corporate accounting policies by translating standards into practical guidance and coordinating adoption across teams.
•Partner cross-functionally to assess accounting implications of new initiatives, deals, and business model changes before they become audit findings.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 131,800 - 164,800 annually

Key Requirements

•6-8 years of progressive accounting experience with demonstrated technical accounting depth.
•Public accounting experience required (Big 4 strongly preferred).
•Deep, hands-on US GAAP knowledge, especially ASC 606, ASC 842, ASC 718, and ASC 340-40.
•Direct experience with public SEC filers and preparing/reviewing technical accounting memos and position papers.
•CPA license required and experience supporting external audits (workpapers, audit liaison, PBC management).
