Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate snack packaging machinery under general supervision to ensure safe, efficient, continuous production.
  • •Monitor and adjust machines for correct film/bag end seals and back seals, standard speeds, and proper product weights and appearance.
  • •Maintain packaging materials by ensuring roll stock supply and correct packaging materials are available for each machine.
  • •Perform and plan machine setups, micro logic adjustments, and changeovers, including handling product run-off and rework of good product.
  • •Maintain clean machines and work areas, report maintenance problems and job-related injuries, and support safety/housekeeping requirements.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma or GED and/or 1-year production experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • •Understand and demonstrate skills to efficiently operate packaging equipment, including setups, changeovers, running, procedural adjustments, sanitation cleanup, and shutdown.
  • •Plan ahead for machine changeovers and efficiently switch from one product item to another.
  • •Ability to lift 40+ lbs. on a regular basis and occasionally lift/move more than 50+ lbs. with mechanical or peer assistance.
  • •Adhere to safety and hygiene guidelines/procedures for safe housekeeping and personal protection.
