Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead day-to-day polymer and metal analytical laboratory operations, ensuring compliance, documentation, safety, and workflow management.
  • •Coordinate lab priorities across business, R&D, and operational needs to deliver timely analytical results.
  • •Support and develop technical staff through training, knowledge retention, and best-practice sharing.
  • •Serve as subject matter expert for analytical characterization methodologies, equipment capabilities, and data interpretation.
  • •Drive continuous improvement by expanding lab capabilities, improving analytical methods, and supporting measurement and quality processes.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in materials science, chemistry, chemical engineering, or related field (or commensurate work experience).
  • •Typically 2–4 years of work experience, preferably with chemistry practices, lab procedures, process improvement, and/or people management.
  • •Experience managing analytical laboratory operations, equipment, and workflows.
  • •Experience in experimental design, data analysis, technical reporting, and problem-solving investigations.
  • •Preferred: additive manufacturing experience with MJF, Metal Jet, or related technologies; Six Sigma certification is preferred.
