Field Technician with hands-on maintenance and repair of pump, power, and HVAC equipment at Grain Valley, MO. Key Responsibilities

•Use our system to create, assign, and monitor work orders and track machine service intervals.
•Travel to customer job sites to perform preventive maintenance and repairs of generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment and/or air compressors.
•Troubleshoot equipment failures at the shop and at customer locations and complete repairs.
•Work independently or with another technician to set up and operate equipment at shop and customer sites.
•Maintain paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed (work orders) in a timely manner.

Key Requirements

•Own tools applicable to position.
•Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools.
•Experience with power generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment, performing inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
•Experience with calculating nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements, and reading schematics.
•EPA 608 certification is preferred; able to obtain within 6-12 months if not possessed.
