Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform planned, preventive, and corrective electrical maintenance in line with work orders, job instructions, and safety requirements.
  • •Inspect, test, troubleshoot, and repair electrical distribution equipment, controls, and operating systems to support safe production.
  • •Safely isolate electrical systems and verify absence of voltage across specified distribution and control systems.
  • •Identify equipment defects and emerging risks, document accurate findings in the asset management system, and escalate issues when required.
  • •Complete post-maintenance testing and commissioning, and coordinate with operations, planners, supervisors, and other trades to minimize disruption.

Key Requirements

  • •Follow electrical isolation, permitting, and safe work requirements with a strong commitment to safety for yourself and your team.
  • •Hold a recognized electrical trade qualification or completed apprenticeship (or equivalent) for industrial electrical work in the applicable jurisdiction.
  • •Have practical experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical equipment and systems in an industrial, mining, manufacturing, or similar environment.
  • •Be able to interpret electrical drawings and technical work instructions, applying sound fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
