Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the operational resilience and outsourcing framework for Wise’s UK entities, ensuring compliance with UK regulatory obligations.
  • •Assess regulatory requirements across operational resilience, outsourcing, and third-party risk management, and apply them to product and service resilience.
  • •Develop and maintain standards, controls, impact tolerances, and mappings/testing of important business services and third-party dependencies.
  • •Lead the annual Operational Resilience Self-Assessment (ORSA), document the operational resilience journey, and deliver the Annual Board Paper.
  • •Build scalable governance for third-party lifecycle management, including due diligence, risk assessment, contract requirements, monitoring, change management, and exit planning.

Salary: GBP 89,000 - 127,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •At least six years of experience in operational resilience, outsourcing/TPRM, technology risk, or product compliance (preferably in financial services).
  • •Strong knowledge of UK regulatory framework for operational resilience and outsourcing (e.g., PS21/3, PS26/2, SYSC 15A, SYSC 8).
  • •Strong experience with regulatory analysis and risk management, with the ability to target impactful activities.
  • •Strong understanding of payments and retail investment products and associated customer journeys.
  • •Ability to operate independently with limited guidance, exercise sound judgment, and provide clear rationales to teams and stakeholders.
