Sr. Tooling Designer, Injection Molding

Design and develop plastic injection mold tooling for Starlink components, partnering with mechanical and process engineers to improve manufacturability. Own parting line development, DFM studies, feasibility work, and surfacing of critical mold components. Interpret mold filling simulations and cooling analyses to drive tool design, design in-house tools, and support external tool trials at vendor shops while ensuring safe, effective, manufacturable outcomes.
