Key Responsibilities

  • •Implement corporate PSM requirements, policies, procedures, guides, and best practices to support process safety at beer operations in Mexico.
  • •Develop, administer, and maintain corporate PSM & PSE, fire protection (FPS/FAS), and FM Global procedures aligned to regulatory requirements and standards.
  • •Manage and track PSM key performance indicators (KPIs), including compliance status, action closure rates, and system effectiveness.
  • •Maintain the corporate PHA portfolio and risk matrix, including risk ranking classification, revalidation schedules, and corporate visibility into process risk exposure.
  • •Coordinate corporate tracking for capital project risk assessments and manage process safety incident investigation data, trends, root causes, corrective actions, and lessons learned.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering or related fields, developed as a Chemical Process Engineer or Process Safety Professional.
  • •2+ years of experience in process safety, plus 2+ years each in process engineering and environment, health and safety (EHS).
  • •2+ years of project management experience.
  • •2+ years applying Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
  • •Experience leading process hazard study domains (e.g., HAZOP/HAZID/What-if/LOPA/QRA) and knowledge of PSM standards (STPS/OSHA/NFPA/IIAR/The Chlorine Institute/FM).
