Job Summary

Own and evolve the Chariot backend platform powering its banking and DAF products. Lead API and backend system architecture, define engineering standards, and improve real-time monitoring and alerting. Work closely with the CEO, founders, and product managers in a small Agile/Scrum team to deliver scalable, secure services for growing contract demand.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage and build backend server applications and components that comprise the Chariot platform.
•Contribute to API and backend system architecture and help define team standards and best practices.
•Generate ideas for new initiatives and technologies.
•Improve real-time and analytical monitoring and alerting to better understand user behavior.
•Manage and execute project plans and delivery commitments in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 180,000 - 230,000 annually

Key Requirements

•4+ years of software development experience in one or more programming languages.
•2+ years as a backend application developer building performant, scalable backend systems.
•Bachelor’s Degree (ideally technical) or equivalent relevant work experience.
•Strong proficiency with Go, Node, Docker, Terraform, and Kubernetes.
•Experience with Postgres, REST APIs, and gRPC.
