Key Responsibilities

  • •Implement data ingestion (real time and batch) using data modeling and ETL/ELT best practices on AWS.
  • •Design, build, and maintain data transformation pipelines consolidating streaming/batch sources into data lakes and data warehouses.
  • •Collaborate with engineers on data system best practices, including integrity, test design, validation, and documentation.
  • •Develop prototype or proof-of-concept implementations when solutions are unknown or unproven.
  • •Write production code to make datasets accessible to partner teams.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience in software development and data engineering.
  • •Experience with cloud infrastructure, with AWS preferred.
  • •Proficiency in at least one major language (e.g., Python, Scala, Ruby) and SQL, with a focus on writing elegant, maintainable code.
  • •Experience with streaming and batch data tools such as Spark, Kafka, and Airflow.
  • •Data warehousing experience working with Databricks (or similar) and building data pipelines for dashboards/visualization.
