Key Responsibilities

  • •Teach in partner districts and schools in designated cities, delivering high-quality instruction aligned with TNTP standards.
  • •Participate in classroom-centered preparation, practice teaching, and reflective exercises to improve engagement with students’ values and ambitions.
  • •Contribute to student outcomes by delivering instruction in high-need subject areas such as math, science, elementary education, early childhood education, English and special education.
  • •Complete program requirements including the certification process while working full-time in a district or charter school.
  • •Engage with ongoing feedback and support from TNTP staff to ensure successful classroom performance and professional growth.

Key Requirements

  • •Must have bachelor's degree by June 2026
  • •Must currently be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • •Must be able to pass a background check
  • •Must not be a licensed teacher (exception for Teach Minnesota)
  • •Must have a minimum 2.2 cumulative undergraduate GPA
