Job Summary

Record, analyze, and report production data across office, field, and laboratory settings. Assist geologists and engineers with electronic, sonic, or nuclear measuring instruments for oil and gas potential; gather and evaluate well and production data to support well optimization and failure analysis. Produce KPI and weekly production reporting, including up/down and flowback reports, and conduct laboratory sample collection and tests to compare measured productivity to estimates.

Key Responsibilities

•Work under direct supervision from the Production Supervisor to record, analyze, and report production data.
•Perform field activities including assisting with electronic, sonic, or nuclear measuring instruments; gather and analyze well/production data.
•Support well optimization and well failure analysis; prepare monthly performance reports for producing wells.
•Create office reporting including KPI reporting for production activities and weekly production/up-down reports and flowback reports.
•Conduct laboratory activities including collecting formation, mud, and soil samples; run tests and compile results to compare actual productivity to estimates.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma (or equivalent); undergraduate degree preferred.
•Minimum 3 years of experience in production operations, including oil and gas operations.
•Strong computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
•Ability to record and analyze data and write reports in office, field, and laboratory environments.
•Experience assisting with electronic, sonic, or nuclear measuring instruments used to assess oil and gas potential.
