Key Responsibilities

  • •Partner with a cross-functional team to deliver AI-powered products affecting how associates work and how customers interact.
  • •Design, develop, test, deploy, and support AI software components including foundation model training, LLM inference, agents/multi-agent workflows, evaluation, governance, and observability.
  • •Use Open Source and SaaS AI technologies (e.g., AWS Ultraclusters, Huggingface, VectorDBs, PyTorch) to build production capabilities.
  • •Invent and apply foundation model optimization techniques to improve scalability, cost, latency, and throughput.
  • •Lead governance reviews and technical design councils, and mentor Principal/Manager-level AI engineers.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 250,800 - 286,200 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related fields plus 6+ years developing AI/ML algorithms or technologies (or a Master’s plus 4+ years).
  • •6+ years programming with Python, Go, Scala, CUDA, or Java.
  • •Experience deploying scalable, responsible AI solutions on cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
  • •Experience developing AI/ML algorithms or technologies (e.g., LLM inference, similarity search, vector databases, guardrails, memory) using Python and other listed languages.
  • •Experience with state-of-the-art techniques to optimize training/inference software for improved hardware utilization, latency, throughput, and cost.
