Key Responsibilities

  • •Install, remove, relocate, and maintain transmission and distribution equipment and associated line hardware.
  • •Install, remove, relocate, and maintain underground distribution system materials and equipment.
  • •Locate and repair secondary and primary cable faults.
  • •Request clearances and perform switching in accordance with operating procedures.
  • •Perform rubber-gloving and live-line tool work and operate equipment such as aerial baskets, tensioners, digger derricks, and trenchers while following safety rules.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 55.89

Key Requirements

  • •Pass the CAST test.
  • •Pass Climbing and Line School.
  • •Be willing to be on call during off hours and respond with overtime as needed.
  • •Have working knowledge of circuits and their voltages, substations, and equipment, plus complex prints and specifications.
  • •Have a valid commercial drivers' license and a High School Diploma or GED; be able to climb and work at heights.
