Job Summary

Operates and monitors a hybrid power facility (PV, BESS, ICE generators) in a desalination/power plant setting. Responsible for routine checks, safety, fault troubleshooting, and coordinating with shift engineers to ensure stable, safe power output in a remote site in Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities

•Comply with safety rules and regulations and be familiar with fire equipment in the area; follow the Shift Supervisor/Engineer and Senior O&M Operator directions
•Monitor plant parameters, record periodic readings, and summarize shift activities in the log book
•Inspect area and auxiliaries to ensure equipment parameters stay within limits and report abnormalities
•Perform equipment changeovers according to schedules and raise work requests or defect notes for faulty equipment
•Coordinate with the Shift Supervisor for isolating and re-energizing equipment and maintain a clean, safe work area

Key Requirements

•Diploma is required (minimum) with up to 3-4 years of experience in a desalination/power plant setting
•Knowledge of safety, environmental health & safety, and waste management principles
•Experience with electrical switching for low/medium voltages and basic maintenance tasks
•Familiarity with ISO9001, 14001, OHSAS 18001 awareness or working knowledge (preferred)
•Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to follow procedures and work in a remote location
