Job Summary

Manage and grow consumer and business customer relationships in a branch banking environment. You’ll deliver excellent customer service, proactively identify opportunities to deepen relationships, and recommend relevant deposit, loan, and other banking products. You’ll also educate customers on optimizing bank technology like online, mobile, and ATM banking, maintain knowledge of products and policies, and follow all operational, risk, security, and regulatory procedures.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide excellent customer service and resolve customer issues.
•Proactively identify opportunities to grow relationships using pre-set appointments, Centers of Influence, a disciplined sales process, follow-up programs, and referrals.
•Educate and refer customers to other bank areas to deepen relationships and strengthen internal partnerships.
•Educate customers on optimizing their use of bank technology (online, mobile, and ATM banking).
•Maintain knowledge of products, services, technology, and policies while adhering to operational, security, risk, and regulatory procedures.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of customer service and sales in banking/financial services, goal-driven retail sales, business-to-business sales, or related military service.
•Provide fingerprints for additional background check requirements as required by NMLS regulations.
•(Preferred) Bachelor’s degree and 1 year or more of customer service and sales in banking/financial services or goal-driven retail/business-to-business sales.
•Ability to build, deepen, and retain customer relationships.
•Strong verbal and written communication skills and comfort with mobile and online banking technology.
