Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate D-10 dozer and other heavy equipment to gouge out, level, and distribute petroleum from processing units/pits to storage/re-claimer.
  • •Operate bulldozers, track hoes, and loaders to adjust terrain to specified grade and move materials as directed.
  • •Perform preventive maintenance, minor repairs, and document equipment maintenance activities.
  • •Complete training on overhead crane and remote-controlled ship loader operations to support loading and stowage plan requirements.
  • •Follow safety and environmental programs and all company/customer procedures, including understanding inspection reports and correcting safety concerns.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma or GED Equivalent is required.
  • •8 months to 1 year of experience operating heavy equipment (e.g., D9 dozers, track hoes).
  • •Maintain a valid motor vehicle operator’s license and an acceptable driving record; be willing to use personal and/or company vehicle.
  • •Complete required safety training/certifications for customer facilities and Kinder Morgan sites.
  • •Obtain/meet foreign trade zone requirements (including TWIC) and complete facility entry requirements such as DISA testing and respiratory fit testing.
