Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform scheduled preventative maintenance (PM), DOT inspections, and follow-up repairs for light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicles in a mobile/field environment.
  • •Diagnose, adjust, and repair vehicle systems including electrical, brakes, cooling, air conditioning, steering, engines (gas/diesel), transmissions, clutches, and differentials.
  • •Use test instruments and road testing to identify malfunctions and ensure vehicles are working properly.
  • •Maintain parts inventory/equipment on the service truck and perform safety checks and pre-/post-trip inspections.
  • •Accurately complete DOT forms and Repair Orders, document work with photos, and comply with safety, health, environmental, and federal regulations (OSHA, EPA, DOT).

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma/GED and 3 years of related experience (or an equivalent combination such as degree/certification or 5 years of related experience).
  • •Possess and supply the set of hand tools necessary for the job.
  • •Obtain ASE T8 (PMI) certification within eighteen (18) months.
  • •Must successfully complete and pass DOT-regulated pre-employment background screening and DOT physical.
  • •At least 21 years old and hold a valid driver’s license with ability to obtain and maintain the Driver Qualification File.
