Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist other Herd Technicians with routine animal care and general farm tasks to ensure animal welfare.
  • •Feed, water, vaccinate, and perform general animal husbandry and basic veterinary procedures.
  • •Sanitize and wash multiple farm areas using high-pressure equipment and support facility and equipment maintenance.
  • •Assist with moving animals and maintaining efficient animal flows, including piglet processing tasks.
  • •Maintain accurate production information and update department records; follow SOPs, animal welfare policies, and environmental/safety/biosecurity procedures.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 16.75 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • •Previous livestock handling helpful.
  • •Ability to do hard physical labor and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • •Strong commitment to teamwork and ability to follow instructions in standardized situations.
