Key Responsibilities

•Lead software certification strategy and execution for seat-related embedded systems to achieve regulatory approvals across DO-178C objectives.
•Act as the primary technical authority for DO-178C/ED-12C-based certification efforts and coordinate cross-functional and supplier activities.
•Mentor junior engineers, drive process improvements, and represent Boeing in regulatory reviews and supplier negotiations.
•Review suppliers’ software lifecycle data (architecture, design documents, requirements, verification and validation) through planning, development, verification and certification phases.
•Oversee supplier software development lifecycle processes, audits, and ensure deliverables meet Boeing standards and regulatory expectations.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor of Science degree or higher in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
•Ability to obtain security clearance
•10+ years of experience applying RTCA DO-178(B/C/D) for airborne software certification, with emphasis on embedded software
•5+ years of experience with DO-330/DO-331
•Lead software safety analyses, supplier oversight, and certification artifact preparation
