Job Summary

Embed on the Imaging production floor as a hands-on sustaining engineer, keeping electromechanical and optomechanical hardware moving. Rapidly troubleshoot in-line assembly, integration, and test issues to minimize downtime, triage and close non-conformance events, and maintain accurate production tracking and inventory flow in ERP/MES systems. Perform debugging and root-cause analysis, drive corrective actions, manage ECO/ECN implementations, and partner daily with technicians to improve yield, throughput, and first-pass quality.

•Embed on the production floor to rapidly respond to, diagnose, and resolve in-line production issues across assembly, integration, and test.
•Own downtime and non-conformance response: triage, drive, and close issues by coordinating engineering, maintenance, quality, and supply chain.
•Handle day-to-day digital line operations by updating and troubleshooting ERP and MES to ensure accurate production tracking, data integrity, and inventory flow.
•Perform rapid debugging, testing, and root-cause analysis; implement corrective and preventive actions and escalate systemic issues.
•Create and maintain work instructions, SOPs, and rework procedures, and ensure ECO/ECN change implementations are managed and executed correctly on the production floor.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 129,000 - 171,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Degree in a technical field such as mechanical, electrical, systems, or industrial engineering (or a related hard science).
•5+ years of hands-on experience supporting an active production line in manufacturing, production, process, sustainment, or industrial engineering.
•Hands-on experience troubleshooting, testing, and assembling electromechanical hardware in a live production environment.
•Experience using and managing data within MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) and ERP platforms to track yields, routing, and inventory.
•Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
