Key Responsibilities

  • •Work with the team to conduct job risk assessments and safe work plans.
  • •Operate equipment responsibly, completing proper pre-use checks and performing assigned power tool inspections before use.
  • •Take responsibility for equipment/tools, including their maintenance and returning materials and equipment to assigned locations.
  • •Identify safety hazards, rectify unsafe acts, report issues that could damage equipment or peripherals, and follow occupational health and safety regulations.
  • •Conduct tasks mindful of environmental impacts, including preparing recyclable and hazardous waste for ice road removal and supporting assigned site work.

Key Requirements

  • •Valid Driver’s license or ability to obtain a site license.
  • •1–3 years of experience operating mobile equipment such as skid steers and roll-off trucks.
  • •3–5 years of experience in butt fusing HDPE pipe (4 inch to 26 inch).
  • •Experience in lake dewatering.
  • •Knowledge/training in confined space monitoring and fall arrest-related work (including fire/spark watch and elevated work platforms).
