Job Summary

Build Kubernetes-based control-plane infrastructure for a CI/CD platform and developer environments. You’ll design and operate automation that scales safely across the engineering org: self-hosted GitHub Actions runners, GitHub Apps/webhooks and GitHub-as-code, secure access for CI/CD and remote dev via Tailscale, and GitOps deployments with Flux. This is an automation-first SRE role shaping reliability, scalability, and developer experience for every product team.

Key Responsibilities

•Design and build infrastructure primitives that define how CI/CD, build systems, and developer environments scale across the engineering org.
•Build and operate the Kubernetes-based control plane behind the CI/CD platform, including self-hosted GitHub Actions runners and GitHub Apps/GitHub-as-code automation.
•Implement secure network access for CI/CD and remote dev environments using Tailscale.
•Create GitOps-driven deployments of platform services using Flux.
•Develop reusable Kubernetes Operators and scaling automation that product teams adopt to reduce bespoke CI/CD and environment tooling.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 90,000 - 125,000 annually

Key Requirements

•6–9+ years in SRE / Platform / Infrastructure Engineering.
•Proven experience scaling Kubernetes in high-throughput production environments.
•Deep Kubernetes expertise including internals, scheduler behavior, custom resources, and cluster-scale failure diagnosis.
•Experience building platform infrastructure/control planes or Kubernetes Operators (not just consuming them).
•Terraform/GitOps ownership and CI/CD experience at scale (GitHub Actions self-hosted runners, GitHub Apps, and build systems).
