Key Responsibilities

  • •Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical equipment, including inspection, troubleshooting, repair, and overhaul of pumps, motors, valves, gearboxes, compressors, and piping systems.
  • •Maintain RO plant equipment, including high-pressure pumps, booster pumps, pressure vessels, RO skids and membranes, filters/strainers, chemical dosing systems, valves and actuators, heat exchangers, and cranes/lifting equipment.
  • •Perform equipment alignment, lubrication, and condition monitoring.
  • •Participate in commissioning activities including commissioning, startup, and shutdown, and support functional testing and pre-commissioning.
  • •Complete maintenance reports and update CMMS/work orders, coordinate with operations/electrical/instrumentation teams, and follow PTW and HSE requirements including emergency breakdown response.

Key Requirements

  • •Diploma or Technical Certificate in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Maintenance.
  • •3–5 years (or more) experience in desalination, water treatment, power plants, oil & gas, or industrial facilities.
  • •Experience with RO desalination systems is preferred.
  • •Knowledge of rotating and static equipment maintenance and familiarity with maintenance management systems (CMMS).
  • •Ability to read mechanical drawings, P&IDs, and technical manuals.
