Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the Human Capital Data Engineering function and set the strategic direction for design, modernization, and scaling of people data platforms, pipelines, and reporting capabilities across the employee lifecycle.
  • •Own and drive the multi-year Human Capital data engineering roadmap, including a consolidated people data platform and semantic models for trusted, consistent reporting and analytics.
  • •Establish target-state architecture for people data, including scalable data models, ingestion frameworks, data pipelines, and analytics-ready platforms supporting workforce, talent, performance, compensation, and people-operations reporting.
  • •Oversee integration of complex internal and third-party data sources across the HC technology stack, ensuring data quality controls, reconciliation, lineage, and operational resilience.
  • •Build, lead, and develop a high-performing team of data engineers and technical leads, and establish best practices for data architecture, security, access models, and platform governance.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 230,000 - 275,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •12+ years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, or related roles, including significant experience leading teams and delivering large-scale enterprise data platforms.
  • •Experience designing and scaling data models, ETL/ELT pipelines, and analytics platforms for complex business processes and cross-functional consumption (HC/employee-lifecycle domain preferred).
  • •Proven track record leading enterprise data modernization programs, including data warehouse transformation, pipeline re-architecture, cloud migration, and operating model improvement.
  • •Expertise in modern data engineering and platform technologies, including SQL and Python, cloud-based data ecosystems, orchestration tools, and warehouse/lakehouse architectures.
  • •Strong understanding of data governance, controls, lineage, security, and auditability, including implications of GDPR/CCPA for people-data architecture.
