Key Responsibilities

  • •Coordinate transport of flight hardware and support equipment to ensure safe and successful launches.
  • •Interface with manufacturing, engineering, mission management, and outside transportation vendors to ensure timely delivery of equipment and vehicles.
  • •Direct transport technicians as needed to support transport readiness of transport equipment.
  • •Use master production schedules to coordinate resources so teams and transport hardware/equipment are available for launches.
  • •Develop, document, and coordinate with engineering and production teams to maintain efficient packaging of flight vehicles, modules, and equipment.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in logistics, operations management, business administration, or supply chain plus 5+ years of logistics or scheduling experience, or 7+ years experience in logistics or scheduling in lieu of a degree.
  • •Ability to provide input and recommendations for compliance with DOT/CFR regulations to logistics and manufacturing departments for transport hardware improvements.
  • •Experience with ERP systems for receiving and inventory.
  • •Knowledge of DOT regulations and CFR (code of federal regulations).
  • •Knowledge of HazMat shipping and ordnance handling.
